Daniel Xu (Beijing) – Venture Partner

Daniel brings to DFJ Dragon Fund with over sixteen years of experiences in financial advisory, asset management and business development. He has been a managing director of Northern Capital Management Group where he helped several private placement and reverse-merger services for Chinese companies in the US capital market and M&A services for American companies in China. Prior to NCMG, he was managing partner of Star Bridge Venture Management, responsible for fund raising, deal sourcing and investor/partner relationships and all aspects of SBVM activities in Greater China. Before SBVM, he also held several managerial positions in leading technology companies at Silicon Valley. He was Sr. fund manager in China International Futures Corp. before he went to U.S.

He is currently an advisor to several internet companies counseling with the start ups for their corporation structuring, team building, venture financing and strategic planning.

Daniel also enjoys golfing. He is a fully certified golf instructor at U.S. He holds his MBA in Business Computer Information Systems and MS in economics research from University of North Texas; he received his B.S from Peking University.
